House Rules for The Retreat

To ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay for all our guests, we kindly ask you to follow these simple guidelines

No Smoking: To keep our retreat fresh and enjoyable for all guests, we maintain a strict no-smoking policy inside the home.

Minimum Age Requirement: Guests booking our retreat must be at least 25 years old. Please provide a matching photo ID upon booking to confirm your reservation.

No Parties or Events: While we love hosting intimate gatherings, we kindly ask that no large parties or events take place during your stay. The Retreat @ Douglasville is designed for relaxation and quiet enjoyment.

No Pets: As much as we adore furry friends, we must maintain a pet-free environment to keep our space pristine for all visitors.

Guest Limit: We welcome up to eight guests at the property at any time, with no more than four guests staying overnight. This ensures everyone has a comfortable and peaceful experience.

Quiet Hours: We encourage you to enjoy the outdoor space and unwind under the stars, but please keep the noise level low between 11 PM and 8 AM to respect our neighbors and the peaceful ambiance.

No Fireworks or Firearms: For the safety and comfort of all guests, fireworks and firearms are not permitted on the property. If you carry a firearm, please keep it securely locked in your vehicle during your stay.

Children: While we welcome families, please note that our retreat is not childproof. We ask that parents and guardians supervise children closely at all times, especially around the hot tub, fireplaces, fire pit, and stairs to ensure everyone’s safety.

Additional Rules: For more detailed guidelines, please refer to our rental agreement. We’ve kept these rules simple so you can focus on enjoying your time with us!

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

We understand that plans can change, and we want to be as flexible as possible while ensuring our retreat is available to guests who are ready to enjoy it. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and your hosts:

If you need to cancel your reservation at least 30 days prior to your arrival date, you will receive a 100% refund, minus a 3% service fee.

If you cancel at least 14 days prior to your arrival date, you will receive a 50% refund, minus a 3% service fee.
Unfortunately, cancellations made within 14 days of your arrival date are non-refundable*.

The retreat comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests at any time, with no more than 4 guests overnight. This ensures everyone has plenty of space to relax and enjoy the host of amenities.
Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. If you require an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
Unfortunately, we maintain a no-pets policy to ensure that our retreat stays allergen-free and comfortable for all guests.
